Condé Nast Entertainment Signs First-Look Deal For Scripted Series

Condé Nast Entertainment has signed a first-look deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television for its scripted television projects.

Under the terms of the deal, which is the first of its kind for Condé Nast Entertainment, the company will develop and produce scripted series for both broadcast and cable. Broadcast series will be produced for Twentieth Century Fox Television, while cable series will be produced for Fox 21.

Condé Nast Entertainment, which has been scaling up its efforts in the scripted department, currently has three series scheduled to air across three different networks this year. Vanity Fair Confidential will air on Investigation Discovery, The Fashion Fund will air on Ovation and Geeks Who Drink will air on SyFy.

The partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Television is managed by Gina Marcheschi, vice president of scripted television for Condé Nast Entertainment.

“The publications of Condé Nast are famous for telling some of the most compelling stories imaginable, and this studio is always on the lookout for exciting material to inspire our creators. Having access to these stories before anyone else is a huge opportunity for us,” said Jonnie Davis, president of creative affairs, Twentieth Century Fox Television, in a statement.
