AMC Unveils New Original-Programming Slate

AMC Monday unveiled a new slate of original series and specials to air beginning this summer.

In June, AMC will debut a new 13-part series, Into Character, offering movie fans the opportunity to live out their film fantasies. It joins current skeins DVD_TV and The AMC Project.

AMC will introduce other series later, including Entertainment Weekly Celebrates 20, a five-episode programming partnership that pays tribute to 20 great moments in movie history.

Shows set to air beginning in October from the partnership include 20 Scariest Movies of All-Time, 20 Greatest Holiday Movies, 20 Guilty Pleasures, 20 Greatest Films of the 70s and 20 Greatest Films of the 80s.
