Roberto Romagnoli has joined Azteca America as vice
president, production and entertainment, and as director,
production and entertainment at TV Azteca.

BROADLOGIC

Richard Peske has joined San Jose, Calif.-based mixedsignal
semiconductor maker BroadLogic Network Technologies
as vice president, marketing. He comes from Big-
Band Networks, where he was VP, marketing and strategy.

ENCOMPASS

Brian C. Steward has joined Encompass Digital Media
as chief financial officer. He comes from Crown Media
Holdings, where he was executive VP and CFO.

Encompass has also named Jon Rees as executive vice
president, general manager, Encompass Los Angeles. He
comes from regional sports network The mtn., where he
was VP, operations.

Also, Don Gabriel has joined Encompass as vice president,
sales. He had been GM, sales, at EchoStar Satellite
Services.

And Encompass has tapped Susie Tomenchok as senior
vice president, client business solutions; and Carli Dahl as
vice president, client business solutions.

Sarah Trahern was elevated to general manager and senior
vice president at Great American Country.

Also, Suzanne Gordon advanced to vice president, programming,
at Scripps Network’s GAC. She had been director
of programming.

Harris has named Stephen Marschilok president of iits
Public Safety and Professional Communications (PSPC)
business unit. He had been president of the U.S. Department
of Defense business unit at RF Communications.

OMVC

The Open Mobile Video Coalition has elected Vincent L. Sadusky
as president. He is president and CEO of LIN Media.

PANASONIC

David M. Nicholas has joined Panasonic Solutions
Co. as vice president and leader of its Cable Group,
responsible for managing the digital set-top business.

ROSETTA

Digital and direct interactive agency Rosetta has added
John Baglivo as senior vice president, brand marketing.
He had been a consultant.

RRSAT GLOBAL

Meidad Katz has joined RRsat Global Communications
Networks as vice president, engineering and professional
services. He comes from HOT Telecom, where he was
VP, engineering and chief telecom officer.

Educational-TV group Sesame Workshop has promoted
Anita Stewart to senior vice president, corporate partnerships.

Chris Elwell has been elevated to executive vice president,
U.S. distribution, at Sony Pictures Television. He
had been senior VP, U.S. distribution.

SYNACOR

Scott Bailey has been named chief operating officer of
Buffalo, N.Y.-based Synacor. He comes from Comcast Interactive
Media, where he was senior VP.

Synaptic Digital has added Byron Carlisle as vice president,
client solutions and head of San Francisco operations.

Also, joining Synaptic in San Francisco: Phil Schurz as

vice president, client solutions and Whitney Siavelis as

Paul Wachter was elected to the board of directors of
Time Warner Inc. He is the founder, CEO and a director

Ross Levinsohn has joined Yahoo as executive vice
president, Americas region. He comes from Fuse Capital,
where he was co-founder and managing director.
