Comcast’s Southern Division has elevated
Jeff Powell to vice president, sales and marketing,
from senior director, outbound sales.
Also, Comcast’s Southern division has
upped Brian Kelleher to director, competitive
marketing from director, business intelligence.
And Scott Hansen was named vice president
of commercial business services, Comcast
West Division. He comes from LightEdge
Solutions, where he was VP, sales.

COMSOUTH

Hawkinsville, Ga.-based ComSouth has
added Bobby Barnes as local manager, Debra
Wells as customer-service representative
and Larry Smiddle as field technician of its
newly acquired Fort Valley, Ga. system. All
three were with Valley Cable TV, which was
purchased by ComSouth.

COX

Gary McCollum was elevated to senior vice
president, general manager of Cox Communications
Virginia. He had been senior VP,
GM of Cox’s Southern Virginia operations.

ITV STUDIOS

ITV Studios has named Noel Hedges as Los
Angeles-based senior vice president, sales
and acquisitions, the Americas. He had
been head of drama and comedy at ITVS.

KATZ

Katz Media Group in New York has elevated
Joe Brewer to senior vice president, chief
information officer from senior VP, information-
technology services.

MTV NETWORKS

Suzanne McDonnell was elevated to senior
vice president of MTV Networks’ Digital
Fusion unit. Also, Heather Hopkins has
added senior vice president, marketing and
sales development duties to her current
role as general manager of the Tribes vertical
ad network.

OUTDOOR CHANNEL

Greg Harrigan was elevated to executive
vice president, advertising sales at Outdoor
Channel, from senior VP.

RENEGADE

Hunt Valley, Md.-based marketing communications
agency Renegade has named
Chris Beutler as chief vision officer, from executive
creative director.

REPLIN, RHOADES & ROPER

Denver-based entertainment and intellectual-
property law firm Replin & Rhoades
has named Robert St. John Roper as managing
partner, from Launch Pad Media
Advisers. The firm wil be renamed Replin,
Rhoades & Roper.

SES

Andrew Browne was named chief financial
officer of global satellite firm SES. He is the
former CFO of Intelsat/New Skies Satellites.

SWIRE

Marketing communications agency Swire
has added Chris Palmisano as vice president,
client solutions, based in New York. He
comes from Young & Rubicam, where he
was senior VP.

YES NETWORK

Jack Curry has joined the YES Network as
studio analyst, program contributor and
Web site columnist. He was national baseball
writer for The New York Times.
