chief operating officer. He had been president

Marina Anglim was named senior vice president,
marketing, at Discovery Channel and
Science Channel. She had been senior VP,
media planning and partnerships at Discovery
Communications.
Also, Deena Edwards was promoted to senior
vice president, integrated content.

Santa Monica, Calif.-based music firm Elias
Arts has elevated Kala Sherman to executive
producer in New York.
Jeff Fiorello has also joined Elias Arts’ New
York offi ce as associate producer.

John McDonald has been tapped as vice
president, marketing at Los Angeles-based
Entertainment Studios Networks. He had
been director, affiliate marketing at Hallmark
Channels.

as president and CEO. He is a former
president and CEO of DirecTV.

Scott A. Crum was named senior vice president,
human resources for Motorola’s Mobile
Devices and Home business. He comes
from ITT, where he was senior VP, director
of human resources.

Darlene Holmes has been named director,
customer development at NPR Distribution.
She had been director, business
development and digital online media at
Vobile.
Also, Joe Schiafano was elevated to director,
business and fiscal affairs, from deputy
director, customer development.

Neil Davis has joined Sun Sports and Fox
Sports Florida as general sales manager.
He comes from Nets Basketball/Brooklyn
Sports & Entertainment, where he was
chief revenue officer overseeing ad sales
for the Barclays Center.
VIAMEDIA
Independent cable rep firm Viamedia has
upped Jay Burg to regional manager, advanced
advertising and business development,
responsible for Detroit; Chicago;
Columbus, Ohio; Cleveland; and Buffalo,
N.Y. He had been local sales manager in
the Detroit market.
Jonathan Spaet has also joined Viamedia
as senior director, advanced advertising,
responsible for New York, Boston
and Providence, R.I. He was executive VP,
North American and International Sales at
Vault.com.
Finally, Viamedia promoted Jeff Lerner to
local sales manager in Naperville, Ill., representing
the Chicago market.
