at Los Angeles-based reality-show production firm A.
Smith & Co. Productions. He was an executive producer.

CBS Corp. has named Doug Rousso as chief technology
officer, responsible for infrastructure technologies
across the company’s entire portfolio. He comes
from CA Technologies, where he was senior VP
and chief technology officer of global information
services.
COMCAST
Comcast has elevated Maria Arias to executive director,
diversity and inclusion. She had been VP, operations for
the MSO’s Southern Colorado systems, leading technical
operations and alternative sales channels.
Also, Karen Ligon was named vice president, human resources
at Comcast’s Houston region. She had been senior
director, HR, at Comcast Michigan.
CROWN MEDIA
Crown Media Networks, parent of Hallmark Channel
and Hallmark Movie Channel, has tapped Allison Bennett
as director, corporate communications and media
relations. She most recently served as director, media relations
at TV Guide Publishing Group.

Los Angeles-based programmer Entertainment Studios
has added Lauren Feldman as producer of The Young
Icons.

Kristen Bedard has joined New York-based creative
content and brand communications fi rm Gravity as East
Coast sales representative. She comes from @Radical
Media, where she was East Coast sales representative.

Betsy Olum has joined HSN in St. Petersburg, Fla., as
general manager of beauty and merchandising strategy.
She most recently served at Sephora as senior VP,

Andrew Bond-Webster was appointed vice president of
sales, Asia Pacific at digital optical networks provider Infinera.

Kathy Koske was named New York-based director, sales
at The Inspiration Networks. She comes from TV Guide

Theresa Casey has joined Leapfrog Online as vice president,
strategic accounts, based in Chicago. She comes
from eBay, where she was director, business development.

Dana Todd has joined marketing agency Performics in
Chicago as vice president, performance innovation. She
comes from advertorial and sponsored content startup
Newsforce.
Also, Kevin Joyce has joined Performics as director, affiliate. He was director, advertiser development at Commission
Junction.

Portland, Ore.-based media measurement firm Rentrak
has elevated Cathy Hetzel to corporate president. She
will retain her current role as president of the Advanced
Media and Information division.
Also, Rentrak has upped Ron Giambra to president of
theatrical, worldwide. He had been executive VP of theatrical,
worldwide.

Retirement Living TV has added David J. Ford as regional
vice president in its Chicago office. He comes
from Comcast, where he had previously served in the
role of director, advanced media sales for Comcast
Interactive TV.

Joshua Gross has been named director, corporate communications
at Smithsonian Networks. He comes from
History, where he led communications efforts for Ice
Road Truckers and Ax Men.
