Neil Klasky was named senior vice president, West
Coast legal and business affairs, at A&E Networks,
based in Los Angeles. He had been senior VP at FX
Productions.
COMEDY CENTRAL
Jonas Larsen was upped to senior vice president, talent
and specials, based in Los Angeles. He was VP, specials.
CBS SPORTS NETWORK
Dan Weinberg has been named senior vice president,
programming, at CBS Sports Network. He comes from
Major League Baseball, where he was VP, licensing.
DIY
Dale Roy Robinson has joined DIY Network as director
of programming, Scripps Networks Interactive Home
Category. He had been a freelance film and television
producer and director.
Also, Heather Jagels was elevated to director, creative
services at DIY. She was creative services manager.
GLOBECAST
Emma L. Brackett was named vice president, world TV
at Paris-based Globecast. She comes from AT&T, where
she was director, content for AT&T U-Verse.
GRAVITY
Alina Braverman has joined New York-based visual
effects and design firm Gravity as director, strategy
and business development. She comes from systems
integrator Tribeca, where she created social-media
and online marketing campaigns for the company
and its clients.
ION MEDIA
Ion Media has added Robert Russo and William O’Shea
as vice president, political sales, based in New York and
Washington, D.C., respectively. Russo has been senior VP,
director of marketing and sales at Katz Television Group;
O’Shea was VP, GM at Millenium Sales and Marketing.
KNOLOGY
West Point, Ga.-based cable operator Knology has
named Royce Ard as vice president, sales and marketing.
He had been general manager of Knology in
Columbus, Ga.
OXYGEN
Tony Carbone was named vice president, digital, at
Oxygen Media. He comes from parent NBCUniversal’s
iVillage unit, where he was director, commercial
operations.
SPIKE
Spike Digital has elevated Cedric Foster to vice president
and general manager, responsible for the digital
brand, content and programming strategy. He had been
senior director, content and programming.
TELEMUNDO
Alina Falcon has joined Telemundo Media, where she
was senior executive vice president, news and alternative
programming. She comes from Univision Communications,
where she was president, news.
TV ONE
TV One has added Linda Finney as senior vice president,
marketing, She comes from Turner Broadcasting
System’s TruTV, where she was VP, brand strategy and
development.
Also, Scott Perkins was promoted to senior vice president,
creative services, from senior vice president, design
and graphics.
And Orlena Blanchard was named senior vice president,
digital marketing. She was senior VP, digital media.
UNIVISION
Luis Patiño was named senior vice president of the Univision
Television Group. He has been VP, general manger
of KWEX-TV/KNIC-TV, San Antonio, and KAKW-TV/
KTFO-TV, Austin.
WOWZA
Chris Knowlton has been tapped as vice president, product
management at Evergreen, Colo.-based Wowza Media
Systems. He comes from Microsoft, where he was
senior technical product manager, Microsoft Media
Platform.
