Jill Mahmarian has joined Comcast SportsNet Chicago as
national sales manager. She was a senior account executive
for Fox Sports unit Home Team Sports in New York.

DISCOVERY

Discovery Channel has named Andrew Jackson as executive
vice president, production and development, landmark
series and specials. He had been managing director
of Tigress Production, a long-time Discovery collaborator.

FOX NEWS CHANNEL

Fox News Channel has promoted Dom Rossi to vice
president, Eastern sales, from account executive; and
Roger Domal to vice president, client relations.

FRWD

Minneapolis-based digital marketing agency FWRD has
named Laura Hoey engagement director. She comes
from Schematic, where she was VP, client services.

Also, Tina White was tapped as FWRD’s source director.
She had been resource director at Aimia.

MIRANDA

TV production, playout and delivery systems provider
Miranda Technologies has named Scott Murray as vice
president of its multiviewer products unit. He was senior
VP, live playout solutions at Grass Valley.

MUNDOFOX

Emiliano Saccone has been named president of
MundoFox, the new Spanish-language U.S. joint venture
of Fox International Channels and Colombia’s
RCN Television Group. He was president of entertainment
at Fox International Channels.

MSG

Beth Collins was upped to corporate senior vice
president, business development, at The Madison
Square Garden Co. She had served as s senior VP, legal
and business affairs for MSG Entertainment.

NBCUNIVERSAL

NBCUniversal Cable & New Media Distribution and
NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution has
named Ari Perler vice president, market research and
strategic sales insights. He had been VP, research, NBCUniversal
Domestic Television Distribution.

REELZCHANNEL

Bill Rosolie has joined ReelzChannel as senior vice
president of national advertising sales, based in New
York. He was executive vice president, digital and advanced
platforms at AMC Networks.

Also, ReelzChannel has named entertainment reporter
Patrick Stinson as a correspondent. He had been a reporter
on the network’s Hollywood Dailies series.

Graig Hale was upped to vice president, business development
at Sportsman Channel. He had been director,
business development.

TOURWRIST

San Francisco-based mobile and online tour platform
TourWrist has named Dan Smigrod as senior vice president
and chief marketing officer. Smigrod was CEO of
Atlanta-based marketing agency Great!

TV LAND

Rose Catherine Pinckney has joined TV Land as vice
president, original programming, based in Los Angeles.
She was head of television for Laurence Fishburne’s
Cinema Gypsy Productions.

UNIVISION

Jeff Browning was named senior vice president, network
sales, at Univision Communications. He had ben manager,
national sales at Univision O&O KMEX in Los Angeles.

VENABLE

Law firm Venable LLP has added Leonard L. Gordon as
a partner in its advertising and marketing and antitrust
practices. He was Northeast regional director of the Federal
Trade Commission.
