CARTOON NETWORK
Curtis Lelash was elevated to vice president, comedy
animation at Cartoon Network. He had been director,
comedy animation.
CENERGY
Buffalo, N.Y.-based entertainment and packaged-goods
marketing firm Cenergy has added Mark Cheney as an
account manager. He comes from Rich Products Corp.,
whre he was an assistant marketing manager.
CNN
John Berman has joined CNN as anchor of the morning
show Early Start. He comes from ABC News, where he was
a correspondent and regular contributor to Good Morning
America.
COMCAST SPOTLIGHT
Tim Russell has joined Comcast Spotlight as Eastern
regional vice president, Comcast Media 360. He most
recently served as senior VP and head of national sales
for TV Guide Network, and previously held sales leadership
roles with Tennis Channel and Turner Broadcasting
Sales.
Also, Jon Sayer has been named Central regional vice
president, Comcast Media 360. He joined Comcast Spotlight
in 2011 after serving as chief marketing officer for the
Pabst Brewing.
And Davina Kent was named Western regional vice president,
Comcast Media 360. She joined Comcast Spotlight in
2008 after holding key leadership positions with TiVo, most
recently as VP of national advertising sales.
COMEDY CENTRAL
Brooke Posch was named vice president, original programing
and development, East Coast at Comedy Central.
She comes from MTV, where she was VP, comedy and
animation.
CO:COLLECTIVE
Tiffany Rolfe has joined growth consultancy Co:Collective
as partner and chief content officer. She was most recently
VP, executive creative director at Crispin Porter & Bogusky,
overseeing the shop’s Los Angeles office.
LOOKSMART
Online advertising network solutions company LookSmart
has named Chris O’Hara to the position of chief revenue
officer.
NAT GEO
National Geographic Channels has named Jennifer
DeGuzman as vice president, communications. She
had been senior director of consumer publicity at
AOL.
Also, Dara Klatt was upped to senior director, corporate
communications from senior publicist and Erin Griffin advanced to associate director, communications and
talent relations from coordinator.
NBCUNIVERSAL
Todd Whiting was named senior vice president,
NBCUniversal Cable & New Media Distribuition. He had
served as VP.
OCTAGON
Global sports and entertainment agency Octagon Entertainment
has added Andy Cohen as vice president. He
comes from The Gersh Agency.
Also, David G. Stanley will lead Octagon’s new production
operation. He is a former studio executive and cofounder
of Stone Stanley Entertainment.
PLAY CREATIVE
Alex Lang has joined Los Angeles-based Play Creative
TV as executive producer and creative director. He
comes from G4, where he was VP, creative.
STYLE
Alicia Muntzner was appointed to the new post of vice
president, advertising sales at Style Media. She comes
from USA Network, where she was director, advertising
sales.
TELECAST
FIBER
Straker Coniglio has joined Worcester, Mass.-based
Telecast Fiber Systems as director, international sales.
He come from Avid Technology, where he was senior
market solutions manager, broadcast.
