RCN to Deploy Cedar Point VoIP Switch

RCN will deploy Cedar Point Communications’ SAFARI C3 switch for voice-over-Internet-protocol telephone services.

The MSO said the use of the vendor’s multimedia switch will compliment its current VoIP offering, primarily in Chicago, and provide additional on and off-net capabilities.

RCN will offer VoIP to both residential and business customers.
