In Demand Serves Up Algarve Cup Action
For the first time ever, the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team’s appearance in the prestigious international women’s soccer tournament, the 2013 Algarve Cup, will be televised in the United States.
The U.S. team’s matches will air live from Portugal on pay-per-view. In Demand is distributing the matches in standard- and high-definition on most large and independent cable systems in the U.S. and Caribbean.
The matches, including the March 8 contest versus China at 9 a.m.(ET), are available at a suggested retail of $14.99 apiece.
The U.S women’s team, which topped Iceland in its March 6 opener, will also play Sweden on March 11 at 10 a.m. A March 13 playoff will be determined by the results on March 11.
