• Sky Angel U.S., a broadband IPTV provider, added CBS College Sports Network (formerly CSTV) on channel 323.

• Verizon said the towns of Roslyn Harbor, N.Y., and Wappinger, N.Y., approved video-franchise agreements authorizing it to offer FiOS TV service. The telco now has video franchises for 102 New York communities.

• Sogetel, the largest independent telephone company in Quebec, Canada, has purchased Occam Networks' Broadband Loop Carrier 6000 solution to let it offer VoIP and IPTV services to subscribers.
