• Advanced Digital Broadcast signed a distribution agreement for its IPTV set-tops with Graybar, a North American distributor of electrical, communications, data and security products.

• AT&T launched U-verse in Reno and Sparks, Nev.

• Verizon began offering FiOS TV in Taunton, Mass., on June 11, where it competes with Comcast.

• The city of Rockville, Md., signed an agreement for Verizon to begin construction of its fiber-to-the-premises network this fall. Verizon and Rockville still must negotiate a franchise that would authorize the telco to offer FiOS TV service in the city.

• IPTV software provider ANT announced that Coship, a Chinese set-top box manufacturer, has licensed the ANT Galio Browser.
