FSN Raises HD Game
FSN, which owns and operates 16 regional sports networks around the country said it will transition toward offering round-the-clock high-definition telecast in the first quarter of 2009. Comcast Hits 500 HDTV Choices
Comcast has more than 500 HDTV choices available at any given time and is significantly increasing on-demand HD programming from Showtime, Encore, MoviePlex and Starz. With the content increase, Comcast claims it is offering more HD movies and programming than anyone else. Charter To Offer Moxi HD DVR In Q3
Digeo, the DVR company backed by Paul Allen, today announced that Charter Communications will begin deploying the new Moxi Cable HD DVR 3012 in the third quarter. The dual-tuner high-definition DVR includes support for multistream CableCards, external storage options of up to 1 Terabyte and Web-based scheduling.
