During an FCC Net Neutrality hearing at Stanford University, Comcast’s practice of using TCP Reset packets to terminate peer-to-peer sessions resulted in a debate about just how common this practice is in the industry. Participants included George Ou, an independent consultant and former network engineer; Robb Topolski, software quality engineer; and Jon Peha, associate director of the Center for Wireless and Broadband Networking.
