ReelzChannel said a recent programming stunt drove Skyfall video-on-demand buy rates 84% higher among Reelz viewers versus non-Reelz viewers, according to a Rentrak study. The network’s programming and promotional stunt focused on promoting 50 years of James Bond in movies, which included promotion of the franchise’s most recent title, Skyfall. The Rentrak study marks the first time VOD buy rates were examined during a programming stunt designed to drive a specific on-demand title.

'King & Maxwell' Premieres to 3.5M Viewers

TNT returned Major Crimes for its second season Monday, debuting the crime drama to 5 million viewers at 9 p.m., according to Nielsen live + same day numbers.

While that was down from the 7.2 million that it debuted to last summer following the series finale ofThe Closer (from which Major Crimes was spun off), it was in line with its season one average of 5.2 million viewers. In the key demos, Major Crimes drew 1.2 million adults 18-49 and 2.1 million adults 25-54.

DirecTV ordered a second season of its first original series Rogue on Tuesday.

The renewal was for 10 episodes and will premiere sometime next year. The series airs on DirecTV's Audience Network, where the company has previously aired new seasons of Friday Night Lights and Damages.

WE tv has renewed reality series Tamar & Vince and Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? for their second and fourth seasons, respectively, the network announced Tuesday.

Tamar & Vince, which averaged a total of 5.6 million total viewers for its freshman season, premieres its new season Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. Joan & Melissa, averaging 4.6 million total viewers in its third season, will bow in early 2014.
