Bevilacqua to Head CSTV Regional Networks

CSTV Networks cofounder Chris Bevilacqua will take over the programmer’s new regional-networks division.

Bevilacqua has been named president of CSTV Regional Networks, the company announced Monday. He will continue to lead future rights negotiations for CSTV and CSTV Online.

“One of our strongest assets is the solid relationship and great support we have with schools and conferences, and Chris has been at the forefront of developing these partnerships," CSTV Networks CEO Brian Bedol said in a prepared statement.

Silverman to Head Big Ten Network

Mark Silverman was named the first president of the Big Ten Network.

Silverman had been general manager and senior vice president of ABC Cable Networks Group.

Fox Cable Networks’ Big Ten Network, set to launch in August, is dedicated exclusively to the Big Ten Conference and will be headquartered in Chicago.
