Tipping off tonight, Comcast’s Xfinity TV will become the first multichannel provider to offer its customers a live stream of ESPN Buzzer Beater, the ad hoc college basketball scoring service, on its own website.

Aereo has announced that it will expand its operations into 22 cities in the course of 2013, which would expand its potential reach to about 97 million customers.
 
The company, which is already operating in New York City, will deliver subscription service costing $8 a month or $80 a year that provides broadcast signals to mobile devices.

Amazon Studios has ordered six comedy series pilots, the studios' first pilot production commitment since announcing its foray into original programming development earlier this year.
 
Once completed, the pilots will be posted on Amazon Instant Video for customers to watch for free, with viewer feedback helping to determine which will be picked up to series. Full seasons will be available exclusively to Prime members and Lovefilm in the U.K. for free.

Nickelodeon says it has vetted its SpongeBob Diner Dash mobile app game and it does not collect personally identifiable info.

The game earlier this week was the target of a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission alleging that it violated the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act by collecting that info but not informing parents it was doing so.

Turner Broadcasting and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution said they made a deal with Amazon.com to make the series Falling Skies and The Closer available to subscribers of Amazon's Prime Instant video streaming service.

Turner and Warner Brothers are both divisions of Time Warner, a leading advocate of TV Everywhere, which allows pay-TV subscribers to watch shows when they want in the devices they choose.
