Verizon Communications has stocked the TV Everywhere buffet for FiOS TV subs with content from 11 NBCUniversal networks, under a pact the companies signed last fall.

The NBCU programming, available through the telco’s My Verizon portal, includes shows from Bravo, USA, Oxygen, MSNBC, CNBC, NBC News, NBC, Syfy, mun2, Telemundo and Cozi TV. In addition, FiOS TV customers can access a live simulcast of CNBC.

Next month, Verizon expects to “launch a few more NBCU networks,” according to spokeswoman Heather Wilner.

With the cost of sports programming continuing to climb, Verizon Communications starting next month will begin charging new FiOS TV customers and those on month-to-month plans a $2.42 monthly fee for regional sports networks.

"Verizon has chosen a fee of $2.42 per month (as opposed to increased TV package charges) to address the skyrocketing incremental sports content costs associated with this popular programming," spokeswoman Heather Wilner said in an email.

AT&T said that as of Thursday morning it had restored service to the “vast majority” of the approximately 6,000 U-verse customers in at least 10 states hit by outages this week after a critical server failure, and the telco will extend credits to affected subscribers.

“We expect the remaining customer issues will be resolved this morning,” AT&T said in a statement. “We will provide a credit to customers who were affected. We know our customers count on their U-verse service and we apologize for the inconvenience.”

AT&T as of Wednesday afternoon was continuing to work on recovering from a server error that has left thousands of U-verse TV, Internet and voice customers in at least 10 states across the Southeast and Southwest U.S. without service, in some cases since Monday.

“U-verse customers still experiencing service issues: we are working hard to fix. Still determining when all will be restored. We apologize!” AT&T’s official U-verse account on Twitter said at 1:54 p.m. Eastern.

AT&T customers have reported outages and sporadic problems with U-verse TV and Internet services, starting Monday, Jan. 21, spanning markets in several states including Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Louisiana.

In a statement, AT&T said, “A limited number of AT&T customers in some markets may be experiencing issues with U-verse service. A team of engineers and technicians are working to resolve the issue, and we apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.”
