CORPORATE DIRECTOR/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Raycom Media, one of the nation's largest broadcasting companies, is recruiting for a Corporate Director/Business Development based at our Montgomery, AL headquarters.  The Director will report to the VP/Sales, and assist in leveraging Raycom TV stations' sales successes for the benefit of all sales managers, Account Executives, and customers.  This position will be a business development "demand-creating" resource for all Raycom sales efforts - with specific focus on the rollout of Raycom's Sales Development Program (emphasizing client interaction, developing creative and customized sales solutions, and Raycom seller support), advancing the development of both internal and externally-developed revenue-generating  projects. Background should include minimum 5 to 7 years of sales management experience (preferably at the GSM level) in overseeing, creating and executing successful TV and digital revenue initiatives. Prior experience with special project and multi-platform sales - including revenue-generating initiatives with outside sales consulting firms - coupled with proven creativity, enthusiasm, passion, demand-creation, and leadership are key characteristics we seek for this newly-created position.   Send resume and salary requirements to: mdilaura@raycommedia.com EOE -M/F/D/V - No Calls Please
