More information about UEI can be obtained at http://www.uei.com/. Active Support Center's initial role at UEI was to support inbound calls for all the wireless hand held products UEI sells. Today Active Support  continues to support UEI's portfolio of wireless technology, as well as is a turn-key solution for the cable telecommunications and consumer home electronics industry to outsource inbound and outbound technical calls.

Universal Electronics, Inc. (UEI) has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager for its Active Support Center. Active Support Center is an 20+ year old domestic call center that provides turn-key inbound and outbound outsourcing service solutions for the cable telecommunications and consumer home electronics industry: Live and Automated call type solutions. UEI's Active Support Center is looking for a highly driven, outside sales person to generate new business as well as manage key accounts. This individual will be required to work out of their residence in a home office and travel 50 to 60% of the time. It is preferred the candidate live near a major airport within the United States.

Responsibilities:

•·         The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years professional sales experience coupled with a professional back ground at a start up company or division of high growth.

•·         Cable Telecommunications or Satellite industry knowledge is preferred, as well as call center/customer care sales operations.

•·         Applicants must have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals via new business.

•·         The ideal person needs to be extremely self-motivated, resourceful, and a seasoned business traveler.

Requirements:

•·         Duties will include, but are not limited to, new business generation and retention; sales lead development, forecasting, and home-office management.

•·         The ideal candidate must also contain strong work ethics, have an astute attention for detail, can adhere to deadlines, as well as a fun and outgoing personality.

•·         Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills is a must!

•·         Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products for account contacts management and presentations is also required.

This person will report to the Associate Vice President of Sales, Active Support Center.
