MSG Network To Air '30 for 30' Film Franchise

Bolstering its summer film slate, MSG Network has reached a licensing agreement with ESPN Films for a number of its documentary titles.

The deal encompasses films under the award-winning “30 for 30” franchise, and is part of a larger multi-year licensing deal with ESPN that will grant the regional sports network access to series and documentaries from the global sports network.  Financial terms were not disclosed.

The first to toe the line on Sunday, June 22 at 10 p.m. is No Mas, the inside look at two boxing matches between Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran, including their Nov. 25, 1980 rematch in which the Panamanian infamously uttered the movie’s name.

After a two-week hiatus, MSG will begin airing the other "30 for 30" films on July 13 through the end of August.

June 22, 10:00 p.m. – 30 for 30: No Mas

Fresh interviews and archival footage track the life and demise of the United States Football League in the mid-1980s.

July 27, 10:00 p.m. – 30 for 30: Silly Little Game

August 3, 10:00 p.m. – 30 for 30: Free Spirits

August 17, 10:00 p.m. – 30 for 30: Bernie and Ernie
