New York-Former AT & T Broadband telephony chief J. Curt Hockemeier was named CEO of Arbinet-thexchange Inc., described as a "full-service trading solution for buyers and sellers of telephony bandwidth," last Wednesday.

Hockemeier was chief operating officer since joining the company in April. Before AT & T Broadband, he worked at Teleport Communications Group.
