Fred Fuller was named general manager of Comcast Corp.’s in Shreveport, La. He comes from Comcast Lake County, Fla., where he was director of operations.
Also, Rhonda Bailey was named director of human resources, Comcast of Knoxville, Tenn. She was human resources manager for Sea Ray Boats, a division of Brunswick Corp. in Knoxville.

Barry Hardek joined Concurrent Computer Corp.’s Everstream unit as vice president of marketing and business development. He comes from CableMatrix, where he was VP of marketing and sales.

Leonard Tacconi was named president of Discovery Health Media Enterprises. He comes from Merck & Co., where he was executive director of corporate marketing.
Also, Roger Millay was named senior executive vice president and chief financial officer for Discovery Communications. He comes from industrial, medical and specialty gas distributor Airgas Inc., where he was senior VP and CFO.

Steve Keltz was named president, chief creative of newly-formed creative-services agency Kostar. He was senior VP of client services and director of business development for the entertainment ad agency The Pere Partnership Inc.

John Mafoutsis was promoted to senior vice president, ad sales, MTV Networks Latin America. He was vice president, international marketing partnerships.

Lee Dollar was named vice president of programming, studio and content development, for the new film channel. He comes from Sony Pictures’ Columbia TriStar Marketing Group, where he was VP worldwide promotions.

Kent Rice was promoted to CEO of Starz Animation, Starz Media. He was executive adviser to Starz Entertainment Group.
Sundance
Christian Vesper was promoted to senior vice president of acquisitions, program planning and scheduling for Sundance Channel. He was vice president and will continue to oversee scheduling, program planning and ancillary rights.
Also, Cara Longo was hired as manager, programming acquisitions. She was an executive with The Independent Film Channel.
And Kimberly Gabelmann was named vice president of branded entertainment and sponsorship. She comes from Comedy Central, where she was director of new business development.

Turner Broadcasting System Inc. named Veon Sussewell director of research for WTBS-TV in Atlanta. She was research director for WATL-TV.

Mark Hill was named president of the interactive TV advertising, direct-response programming and transactional TV firm Turner Media. He comes from RadioShack Corp., where he was chief corporate development and strategy officer.

Brad Grant was named director of video on demand for The Weather Channel Networks. He was director of operations at TWC’s 24-hour all-local weather network Weatherscan.

Verizon Communications Inc. has named Rachelle Zoffer director, interactive TV, Verizon FiOS TV service. She has worked with Softel-USA, ShadowTV and The Walt Disney Co.
