John Gauder was named vice president, general manager of Comcast Corp.'s Nashville system. He was group director, marketing and sales at Charter Communications Inc. in Saginaw, Mich.
Mark Davis was named vice president, technical operations at Comcast Corp.'s Southern division, based in the regional headquarters in Atlanta. He was director, technical operations in the MSO's Tri-State systems.
Also, Comcast has named Scott Calloway vice president, online and voice services in the Southern division. He was executive director, customer care in the Atlanta region.

Erick Weber has joined Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia as an on-air personality. He comes from WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee, where he was a sports anchor and reporter.

CRN Digital Talk Radio has hired Gloria Pollack in the public relations services department. She comes from Time Warner Cable in Chatsworth, Calif., where she was director, public affairs.

Charles F. Newby joined Digeo Inc. as vice president of engineering. Newby had been a consultant to the cable and satellite industries, including work on several major OpenCable Application Platform-related projects.
DirecTV
DirecTV Inc. has named Derek Chang senior vice president, strategy and development. He had been executive vice president, finance and strategy at Charter Communications Inc.
Dominion
Dominion Video Satellite Inc, parent of direct-broadcast satellite provider SkyAngel, has elevated Thomas Scott to president, chief operating officer. He was VP, general counsel.
ESPN
ESPN has reorganized its communications team, promoting Chris LaPlaca to senior vice president, communications, from senior VP, consumer communications.
Vice president, communications for domestic networks Mike Soltys will add increased responsibilities for all of ESPN's domestic television and radio networks and ABC Sports, as well as continuing to support communications efforts related to ESPN facilities and local- and state-government matters.
Katina Arnold was elevated to vice president, communications for sales and marketing, international and new technologies. She had been VP, affiliate and international communications.
Rob Tobias was promoted to vice president, public relations for new content, original entertainment and enterprises, from senior director.
Diane Lamb was elevated to vice president, corporate information, from senior director.
And Josh Krulewitz was promoted from senior director to vice president, public relations for college, news and networks information.

Tonia O'Connor was promoted to executive vice president, distribution at Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc. She was executive VP, affiliate sales and marketing.
JLM Partners
Seattle public-relations firm JLM Partners has added Jeremy Pemble as senior vice president. He was VP, corporate communications at Real Networks Inc.

Allyson Terry-Goldsby has been promoted to vice president of marketing at Sony Pictures Television. She was executive director, marketing.

Sundance Channel has named Gretchen Beidl executive vice president, affiliate sales and marketing. She comes from Oxygen, where she was senior VP, affiliate sales.
Time Warner Cable
Time Warner Cable's National Division has elevated Paula Jungen to director, business systems solutions. She was manager.
Also, John Merone was named National Division director of accounting. He was supervisor, accounts receivable.
And Ken Miller will continue on in his role as controller of the national division, with redefined responsibilities.
