Bloomberg Television reported several new hires: Steve Males has been appointed to manage affiliate and consumer marketing for the network; Sandra Mosiello will manage affiliate sales for the Southeast Region; Dave Noguerol will manage affiliate sales for the Mid-Atlantic region; Tracey Bedell will manage affiliate sales for the Northeastern region; and Wil Loesel will manage affiliate sales for the Western region.

Comcast

Dave Sanders was elevated to vice president, general manager of Comcast Corp.'s Tri-State system serving East Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. He had been GM.

Conexant

Conexant Systems Inc. tapped Lewis Brewster to take over as general manager of its broadband-media-processing business. He'll retain his roles as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Also, Sailesh Chittipeddi was added as senior vice president of global operations. With a resume that includes positions with Agere Systems Inc., Lucent Technologies Inc. and AT&T Microelectronics, Chittipeddi will be in charge of global supply planning and supplier-relationship management.

Court TV

Court TV has tapped Glen Freyer as vice president, nonfiction series development. He comes from Twentieth Television's Fox Lab, where he developed and executive-produced several series.

Crush

Post-production editorial company Crush Editorial has added Curtis Schmidt as staff editor. He returns to the company after a stint as a freelance editor.

Digital Vision

Digital Vision, a Stockholm, Sweden-based developer of advanced digital media applications specializing in film and video, has added Kelvin Bolah as vice president, sales, based in London. He had been head of postproduction at Harris Broadcast Communications Division in Europe.

DirecTV

John Shelton joined DirecTV Inc. as senior vice president, sales and distribution. Shelton had been north-region VP at Nextel Communications Inc.

IMA

Former longtime cable executives Jim Grillo, Lee Clayton Roper and Pete Smith have joined forces to form a Denver-based consulting firm called International Media Advisors, aimed at companies providing voice, video and data services.

Healthy-lifestyles cable network Lime has named Barbara Steele as multiplatform producer. A veteran producer, she was one of the original show producer's for Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

NBC Universal

Nate Kirtman was named vice president, NBC Universal Television Group publicity, a new post. He comes from GE Aviation, where he was manager of marketing communications.

PWC

Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable group publisher Chuck Bolkcom has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers, in its Entertainment and Media advisory practice.

Quantel

United Kingdom-based digital-content creation tools provider Quantel has named Neil Hinson as research and development director. He was chief engineer, research and development department.

RCH

Fred McSweeney has joined RCH Outsourcing Services Inc. as chief operating officer. He was previously vice president of sales and marketing for Comcast Corp. in New Jersey.

Speed

David Harris joined Speed Channel as manager, media relations. Harris had held a similar post with DaimlerChrysler's and Pedregon Racing's programs in the National Hot Rod Association for Cox Group.

Targetbase

Direct-marketing firm Targetbase has named Kimberly Walsh as executive creative director in its Dallas office. She was senior vice president, creative director at MacLaren McCann Direct & Interactive.

Troika

Dale Everett has joined Los Angeles-based entertainment design firm Troika Desighn Group as creative director, He had worked with the company as a freelance creative director and supervising producer.

Vonage

Voice-over-Internet protocol telephony provide Vonage America Inc. has named Bryan DiGiorgio senior vice president, custome rcare. He comes from OnStar Inc., where he was general director of service-delivery operations.

WE

WE has named Steve Cheskin senior vice president, programming. He had served the channel as a consultant for the past month.

Also, Gena McCarthy has joined the network as vice president, programming and production.
