Will Nicholson was named United Kingdom sales director for EuroNews. He was managing director of global sales for The International Herald Tribune and The New York Times in London.

Alexis Glick was named director of business news at Fox News Channel. She was a news correspondent for NBC News and co-host of the third hour of NBC’s Today.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. promoted Jim Packer to president, Worldwide Television Distribution Group.

Timothy Kay was named director of political strategy for National Cable Communications, New York. He was principal media director for Buying Time LLC in Washington, D.C.
Also, NCC named Nina Veruete director of political communications, based in Washington. She was a political consultant at Navigant Consulting Inc.

Rentrak Corp. named Carol Hinnant vice president of business development for OnDemand Essentials. She was VP, sales and marketing at Q Television Network.

David Schwarz was promoted to vice president of communications for Spike TV. He had been senior director of communications.
