Also, Elaine Frontain Bryant was named vice president of nonfiction and alternative programming, A&E Network. She was director of nonfiction and alternative programming.

Kellie Grom was named grassroots manager for the American Cable Association. She worked in the Washington, D.C., office of former U.S. Rep. Melissa Hart (R-Pa.).

CMT

Melanie Moreau was promoted to vice president of development, CMT. She helmed reality shows Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, Trick My Truck and The Ultimate Coyote Ugly Search. Prior to CMT, she was VP of development at Greystone Television, developing projects for Comedy Central, Bravo, Discovery Health, FX and VH1.

Comcast

Patrick Paterno was named regional director of communications for Comcast’s Michigan region. He was manager of media relations at Leader Dogs for the Blind.

Comcast Spotlight

Steve Lindsley was named vice president and general manager of Salt Lake City operations, Comcast Spotlight. He was chairman and CEO of U.S. Digital Television, and has served as CEO of WideOpenWest.

Echolab

Ankit Patel was named product marketing manager, responsible for managing the full range of Echolab’s production switcher product lines. She comes from Matrox Digital Video Solutions, where she was product manager for the Axio line.

Genesis

Mark Wallhauser was named executive VP of video transmission-service provider Genesis Networks. He worked at Arbinet, helping to develop and launch a domestic voice minutes exchange for competitive local-exchange carriers.

Hallmark

Randi Felton was named senior director of ad sales research, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. She was research manager at Turner Broadcasting System, and worked at MTV Networks.

Billy Cogar was promoted to director of development at Here Networks. He was manager of original programming.

Imagine

Mark Davis was named vice president of engineering, network systems and support, Imagine Communications. He was VP of the engineering, network solutions group at BigBand Networks.

Erik Flannigan was promoted to executive vice president of digital media, MTV Networks. He was senior VP of digital media, Comedy Central and Spike TV.

Oxygen

Michael DuPont was promoted to vice president of Eastern Sales, Oxygen. He was VP of strategic partnerships.

RevShare

Leyla Hodge was named director of client services at television advertiser RevShare. She has managed media at Icon Media Direct.

Roo

Bert Solivan was named executive vice president, general manager of Web-video broadcaster Roo Group. He was general manager of FoxNews.com and executive VP at Fox Interactive Media.

Also, Paula Balzer was named chief marketing officer at Roo Group. He was CMO at Clear Channel Entertainment.

And Rick Gell, co-founder of media-rights clearance firm Second Line Search, was named chief content officer.

Sci Fi

Shari Weisenberg was named vice president of strategic marketing at Sci Fi Channel. She was director of marketing at Bravo.

Spike

Jon Slusser was named senior vice president of Spike Digital and video games. He was VP, MTV Networks and CEO of GameTrailers.

Synacore

Eric Blachno was named chief financial officer at Internet portal developer Synacor. He was VP of finance and chief financial officer at Eagle Broadband.

Tandberg

Senior vice president of sales Al Nunez was promoted to president of Americas, Tandberg Television.

TCM

Pola Changnon was named vice president and creative director of Turner Classic Movies on-air promotions. She was VP of on-air and executive producer of program production at Cartoon Network, and has worked for Colossal Pictures.

TV Guide

Christy Tanner was promoted to vice president, marketing and online network development, TV Guide Online. She was marketing director.

TVN

Jamie Marquez was named director of affiliate sales, Eastern region, TVN Entertainment. He was regional account manager, Southwest region, TV Guide Network.

Also, Maria Mendoza was named director, affiliate sales, Western region. She was an account manager at Music Choice.
