Bright House Networks has elevated Leo Cloutier to senior vice president, strategy and business development at the Syracuse, N.Y.-based MSO. He had been VP, strategy and partnerships.

Cable Positive, the cable industry’s AIDS action organization, has upped Thomas Henning to chief operating officer, based in New York. He had been senior VP, programs and operations.

CMT has added Dee McLaughlin as senior vice president, brand marketing, based in Nashville. She comes from Virgin Group, where she was Los Angeles-based VP, marketing.

Kami Yamaguchi has been named vice president of engineering and technical operations for Comcast’s Indianapolis Region. He previously served as director, technical operations for the MSO’s Denver Metro Area.

Lindsey Germono was named local account executive on the southside sales team at Cox Media in Chesapeake, Va. She comes from WSKY-TV, Chesapeake, where she was an account executive.

Charlie Schumacher has joined Comcast SportsNet Chicago as senior news director. He had been assistant news director at WGN-TV in Chicago.

Disney and ESPN Media Networks has named Renee Plato as vice president, digital video distribution. She comes from Sony BMG Co., where she was senior director, business development.

DMI Music & Media Solutions has tapped Tracey Matchett as vice president, strategic marketing and new-business development. She comes from SUGO, where she was VP. sales and marketing.
Also, Paul Murphy has joined DMI as vice president, strategic marketing and business development. He was senior director, marketing and strategic alliances, the Grammy Awards, at The Recording Academy.

Action-sports network Fuel TV has tapped Gene Pao as vice president, new media and international development. He had been a VP at Fox Interactive Media.
Also, Patrick Perez was named Fuel’s director, new media. He was a wireless consultant.
And Kirsten Missen was named manager of acquisitions. She had been U.S. general manager of Whyte House Productions.
Hallmark Channel
Alex Hills was tapped as director, network distribution and service for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, based in New York. He comes from Ion Media Networks, where he was director, affiliate sales.
History
Peter Gaffney was upped to senior vice president, programming strategy, scheduling and acquisitions at History and History International. He had been VP, scheduling and acquisitions at History.
IPtimize
Mitch Garlock has joined Denver-based broadband voice and data service provider IPitimize as president, worldwide sales.
NBA Digital
NBA Digital has added three producers at sports channel NBA TV: Damon Fisher, Jeremy Levin and Rodney Tripplett. Fisher comes from FSN South/Sports South; Levin was an associate director at Turner Sports; and Triplett had produced events for ESPN and CSTV.
Also, Jim Allen and Steven James have joined NBA TV as directors of all live studio programming. Allen had directed Atlanta Thrashers games for FSN South and SportSouth; James had directed studio shows for NFL Network.

Todd Whiting was named vice president, cable and ancillary sales at NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. He had been director, cable and ancillary sales.

Mark Drucker was named as vice president of sales and marketing of Plum TV’s channel in the Hamptons region of Long Island, N.Y. Formerly a sales and marketing consultant, he is the former group publisher of luxury custom-publishing firm MM Publishing.

Also, Jan Liddicoat was promoted to vice president, national accounts, field operations, based in Southfield, Mich. She was regional director, affiliate sales in the Midwest region.

Blaine Altaffer has joined Time Warner Cable as group vice president, sales channels and market development. He comes from Circuit City Stores, where he was business team lead, digital connections.

Rachel Lizerbram Sandler was tapped as head of TV Land Communications. She had been vice president.

Michael Spirito was promoted to vice president, business development and digital media at YES Network. He had been director.
