Comcast has named Kevin Gow as vice president of customer care for its Greater Chicago Region. He was VP, sales, retention and customer care for Comcast's Eastern Division in Oaks, Pa.

Also, Mark O'Leary was named Comcast's regional vice president of business services, California Region.

Finally, Mary Copponex was named director, sales operations, Comcast Business Services Southern Division. She had been director, commercial operations in the Atlanta region.

Discovery Communications has tapped Lori McFarling as chief marketing officer, Discovery Education and Domestic Distribution. She had been divisional marketing officer at Discovery Education.

San Diego-based technology firm Imagine Communications has added Doug Means as chief operating officer. He comes from Motorola, where he was VP and GM, IPTV video solutions business unit.

Jonathan Firstenberg has joined Carlsbad, Calif.-based music production firm MusicBox as senior vice president. He comes from Universal Music Group, where he was VP, business development and creative director.
