Also, Mary Beth Bower joined Comcast’s Naples/Fort Myers, Fla., system as director, technical operations. She had been director, engineering for voice over Internet protocol in Philadelphia.

NBC Universal Television Group has named Beth Roberts executive vice president, business affairs for the NBC Universal Entertainment and Cable Entertainment divisions. She had been senior VP, managing business affairs for the NBC network and NBC Studios.

Michael Markovsky has joined Q Television Network to manage carriage-contract negotiations. A cable veteran, he had been CEO of the Nostalgia Network and VP, program operations at Warner Cable.

RASCO

Rainbow Advertising Sales Corp. has elevated Moira Prophet to director, ad sales, AMC/WE: Women’s Entertainment. She had been a Los Angeles-based account executive.

Amy Rubin was also named account executive at AMC/WE. She comes from Starcom, where she led the kids’ and adult syndication team for Walt Disney.

Richard Korzeniewski was named general manager of VidiTel, the newly formed service provider business unit and hosting service subsidiary of Santa Cruz Networks.
