was named corporate vice president of learning and development for Charter Communications Inc. She will be responsible for managing employee recruitment, retention, training and development. The company also announced the appointment of John Tory
to the board of directors. Tory is the president and CEO of Rogers Cable Inc.

Game Show Network promoted Curt Northrup
to executive director of development. In his new role, Northrup will oversee the development process, including supervising show pitches, presentations and pilots. The network also tapped Kevin Belinkoff
as executive director of programming. Belinkoff will oversee all current series productions, and will work on scheduling, library acquisitions and stunt programming.
Grande
Ron Harden
joined Grande Communications as executive vice president of network services for Grande Networks. Harden previously served as chief operating officer for PointOne Telecommunications Inc.

In Demand L.L.C. promoted Jasmine Rinde
to senior manager of publicity. Rinde's increased responsibilities will include working with other departments on movie campaigns, affiliate promotions and video-on-demand.
NEC
NEC Corp. appointed Robert Richmond
senior vice president and chief technology officer for NEC Eluminant Technologies. Richmond will lead the division's technical development of fiber-based broadband access products and solutions.

was named technical director at Studio City. Grigorian will oversee the agency's new graphics division.
