Kimberly Edmunds has been named vice president and general manager of Cox Communications Inc.'s Kansas operation. She had been VP of Cox's customer-care headquarters in Atlanta.

David G. Seykora has joined Charter Communications Inc. as vice president of government affairs and franchise relations for the Great Lakes operating division. Seykora had been VP of law and public policy at AT&T Broadband.

CHUM Ltd., Toronto, elevated Denise Cooper to vice president, business and legal affairs to general counsel. She retains the VP title.

CN8: The Comcast Network named Tara Faccenda as assignment desk editor. She comes from WTXF-TV, Philadelphia, where she was planning editor.
Also, CN8 tapped Darryl Carver and Kyle Schmoyer as general-assignment reporters. Carver comes from WJLA-TV, Washington; Schmoyer had worked for WNEP-TV, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

CNET Networks added former Liberty Digital president and CEO Jarl Mohn and Macromedia Inc. executive VP, CFO and secretary Betsey Nelson to its board of directors.
Comcast
Comcast Corp.'s cable unit has elevated Mike Daves to vice president, general manager of the Savannah, Ga., system. He had worked as director, technical operations in Knoxville, Tenn.
Also, Tim Horn was upped to vice president, general manager in Knoxville, Tenn. He was previously director of marketing for the Knoxville system.
Fox Sports Net
Doug Sellars was elevated to senior vice president of production, executive producer at Fox Sports Net. He had been a coordinating producer.
Gemstar-TV Guide
Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc. elevated Doug Macrae to president, TV Guide Consumer Electronics. He was formerly president of TV Guide On Screen, Gemstar's North American consumer-electronics unit.

Inpulse Digital TV Group elected the following company officers: Shirley Rohn-Saito, chairman; Sandra Staggs, CEO; Anne Aaronson, president; and Kimberly Wilson, president of production. The startup company, in Chatsworth, Calif., is developing an erotic pay channel aimed at women.

NDS Group plc tapped Nathan Gantcher, co-chairman and CEO of Alpha Investment Management LLC, as an independent director.
Renegade
Hunt Valley, Md.-based cable-marketing firm Renegade has named Christopher Beutler vice president, production. He most recently was president and co-owner of Beutler & Howard Inc.
Renegade also hired three additional production team members: Avid editor Mark Griesbauer, night editor Brian Stetson and copywriter Beth Williams.

Scripps Networks has named John Lansing executive vice president. He was senior VP, television at parent E.W. Scripps Co.'s television group, responsible for the company's 10 broadcast-TV stations.

They are: chairman, Robin Sangston, assistant general counsel at Cox Communications Inc.; vice chair, Susan Scott, senior VP, distribution, The Weather Channel; secretary, Melanie Penna, VP of human resources, Comcast Corp.; treasurer, Connie Zerden, general manager, Showtime Networks Inc.; immediate past chair, Nancy Murphy, VP of law and public policy, Adelphia Communications Corp., and chapter director, Laura Timoney, VP, MTV Networks.
