Also, Darren Melameth was promoted to director, programming from senior manager, programming and scheduling, and Mark Davidson was promoted to manager, acquisitions from manager, programming and scheduling.

Debbie DeMontreux was promoted to vice president of original programming, Independent Film Channel. She was VP, original series and specials.
In Demand
Paul Iannacchino was hired as creative director, In Demand Networks. He comes from USA Network, where he worked on promotional creative for WWE Monday Night Raw, Monk, The Dead Zone, Ring of Fire, The 4400 and the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
Also, In Demand has hired Lee Gerowitz as producer, Howard TV On Demand. He has worked for MTV: Music Television, VH1, Fuse, NBA Entertainment and Comedy Central.
Jason Sirotin also joined Howard TV On Demand as producer. He comes from XY.tv, where he was an executive producer and head of programming and production.

Allyson Lattman was promoted to vice president, television development. She was director, creative affairs, and will continue to develop one-hour dramas, as well as the Showtime comedy Weeds.
Also, Andy Richley was promoted to director, television development. He has worked on The U.S. vs. John Lennon, a documentary premiering in September, Weeds, and the Mr. T reality series I Pity the Fool.

National Geographic Channel has named Juliet Blake senior vice president of production. She comes from Scholastic Media, where she was senior VP, programming and development.
NBC Sports
Mark Levy was promoted to vice president and creative director at NBC Sports. He will continue overseeing NBC’s Olympic film and profiles unit and all production and editorial functions at NBC’s HD production facility and development arm, The Edison Project. Also, Joe Gesue was promoted to editorial director, NBC Sports & Olympics and NBCSports.com. He was director of Olympic research, NBC Universal.
Brian Brown was named story editor and senior features and film producer. He was a producer and writer for NBC’s Olympic unit.
And Becky Chatman, also a former producer for NBC Olympics, was promoted to senior producer.

Catherine Herkovic was named general manager of the local business unit of Nielsen Station Index, New York. She was senior VP, sales and marketing.
