Matt Hanna was named head of alternative development at Los Angeles-based independent production house BermanBraun. He was vice president of development, VH1.

Comcast

Aaron Geisel was named regional vice president of sales and marketing, Comcast Indianapolis region. He was area senior director of marketing operations in Southern New Jersey.

Also, Ted Lango was named director, strategic call-center operations, Comcast Southern division. He was VP, customer care and call-center operations at Cleartel Communications.

At Comcast Network Advertising Sales, David Allen was named account executive for E! and Style. He comes from CBS, where he was a sports account executive.

Lauren Cyr was promoted to account executive, Comcast Network Advertising Sales. She was an associate sales representative.

Jay Keller was named account representative, Comcast Network Advertising Sales. He comes from Discovery Communications.

Jim McGovern, also named account representative, joins Comcast ad sales from The CW, where he was an account-service representative.

And David Tennenbaum was named account representative, Comcast ad sales. He was an account service representative at ABC Family.

IdeaCast

Jason Brown was named president, sales and marketing, in a new New York-based ad sales office for sports-club TV programming and advertising provider IdeaCast. He was executive VP of national advertising sales at Screenvision.

Also, Bob Shaw was named senior vice president of sales. He was divisional VP, national sales, Screenvision.

Adam Oliveri was named vice president of Eastern region sales. He was account director, Eastern regional sales, Screenvision.

Adam Schoenberg was named account director, Eastern region sales. He was account director, Eastern region sales, Screenvision.

And Tess Mallery was named account director, Midwest sales. She was Midwest account director, Screenvision.

MTV Networks

Dan Hart was promoted to senior vice president and GM, MTV Digital, MTV Networks music group. He was in charge of MTVN online games strategy and operations.

Also, Paul DeBenedittis was promoted to vice president of operations at MTV.com and Colin Helms was promoted to vice president of programming, MTV.com.

Dan Pierce was named account manager in the London office of National Geographic Digital Motion. He was stock sales manager at Magnum Photos in London.

NBC Universal

Jim Slattery was promoted to vice president of business and legal affairs at NBC Universal Television Networks. He was senior cable counsel, business and legal affairs.

Also, George Callard was named vice president of business and legal affairs. He comes from AT&T, where he was chief programming lawyer, responsible for securing content for the phone company's U-Verse TV product.

Outdoor

Jason Brist was named vice president of advertising sales, Central region, Outdoor Channel. He spent 10 years with Fox Cable Networks in Chicago, serving in management roles for both FX Networks and National Geographic Channel.

Oxygen

Mary Jeanne Cavanagh was promoted to executive vice president of ad sales at Oxygen. She was senior VP of national ad sales, responsible for day-to-day operations of the sales department, overseeing the East Coast team.

QD3

Paul Campbell was named president and chief operating officer at QD3 Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based producer and agrregator of urban programming for multiplatform distribution. He comes from Microsoft, where he was a senior entertainment executive.

QVC

Ram Vijayanathan was named vice president of internal audit at home-shopping network QVC. He comes from Deloitte & Touche, where he was manager within the Enterprise Risk Services group.

SCI

Todd Schurz was named CEO of Schurz Communications, a media company whose holdings include multiple-systems operator Advanced Cable Communications. He was president and chief operating officer.

Weather

Michael Watson was named Southeast sales director for The Weather Channel Interactive. He comes from Microsoft, where he spent the past four years representing MSN in the Southeast.

WildBrain

Michael Polis was named chief marketing officer at production studio WildBrain. He was SVP, marketing, worldwide at The Jim Henson Co.
