ESPN has elevated Rosa Gatti to senior vice president, communications counsel and corporate outreach. She was senior vice president, corporate communications and outreach.

Also, Chris LaPlaca was elevated to senior vice president, corporate communications. He had been senior VP, communications.

Hearst-Argyle

Hearst-Argyle Television has tapped Roger Keating as senior vice president, digital media of the New York-based TV station group. He most recently served as executive vice president of Time Warner Cable’s Los Angeles region.

MGM HD

Gracelyn Brown has joined MGM HD as vice president, programming. She comes from KTLA, Los Angeles, where she was director, programming.

Turner Sports and the National Basketball Association have tapped Bryan Perez as senior vice president, general manager of NBA Digital. He had been CEO of Live Nation’s Global Digital division.

NBC Universal Women and Lifestyle Entertainment Networks has named Jennifer Turner vice president, licensing and strategic partnerships, Bravo Media and Oxygen Media. She had been VP, drama programming at Universal Media Studios.

NextNine, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based automation solutions provider to telecommunications and other companies, has named Tom Trogdon as vice president, sales, North America. He comes from New Dimension Software, where he was VP, sales.

QVC

Jim Powel was promoted to vice president, consumer insights at West Chester, Pa.-based home-shopping network QVC. He had been director.

Rentrak

Portland, Ore.-based audience-measurement firm Rentrak has hired Kristie Fortner as vice president, syndication. She comes from Ripe Digital Entertainment, where she managed on-demand, broadband and mobile strategies for Ripe TV, Octane TV and Flow TV.

Investment banking firm Stephens Inc. has named Jennifer Bishop and Phyllis Riggins as managing directors, media investment banking group in its Dallas office. Both had been managing directors at Bluffview Capital, Dallas.

Turner Broadcasting System’s Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media Group has upped Jill Shields to senior vice president, strategic marketing and partnerships. She had been VP, promotions marketing and sponsorships for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.

Warner Bros. Television has namedBrett Paul executive vice president, a new post. He had been executive VP, business affairs, operations and finance.
