Abilene Latest Suddenlink 1-Gig Market

Suddenlink Communications said it has launched its 1 Gigabit per second high speed data service in Abilene, Texas, bringing the number of areas with the offering to 18 communities.

As is the case with other Suddenlink 1Gbps markets, Internet customers with current download speeds of between 75 and 100 Megabits per second have been moved to higher tiers with speeds of 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps at no additional charge.

Suddenlink’s standard residential Internet download speeds in these communities are now up to 50, 100, and 200 Mbps, along with the now available up to 1 Gig service.

Local business owners also have access to Suddenlink’s 1 Gig service, along with customized services that Suddenlink has offered for many years that are capable of multi-Gigabit speeds.
