Attendance Up For Comcast HQ Holiday Show

The free, holiday spectacular display on the video wall at Comcast's corporate headquarters in Philadelphia drew about 255,000 people during its Thanksgiving-to-New Year's Day run, an increase from about 215,000 viewers the year before, the cable company said.

The 15-minute annual show -- this year kicked off by a "Snowman Symphony" and featuring The Nutcracker scenes from the Pennsylvania Ballet and a sleigh ride through the Keystone State countryside -- is displayed on the 83-feet-by-25-feet Comcast Experience video wall in the Comcast Center lobby. That is the world's largest 4-millimeter LED screen with resolution five times sharper than an HDTV set, according to the company.

The Comcast Center opened in 2008.
