CN8 to Face Off in Moscow

CN8, The Comcast Network is going international Monday when it provides same-day coverage of a hockey contest between Team Russia and Team World from Luzhniki Arena in Moscow.

The Farewell Hockey Game marks the last time former National Hockey League star Igor Larionov will lace up his skates.

Airing from 8 p.m.-10:30 p.m. (EST), the contest will also feature such notables as Martin Brodeur, Alexei Zhamnov, Sergei Samsonov and Pavel Bure.

CN8 officials said they will receive a feed of the contest earlier Monday, then overlay the network’s graphic package and voiceover, courtesy of Philadelphia Flyers play-by-play man Jim Jackson and former Flyer Gary Dornhoefer, who will provide the color.

The game will also be available online (www.cn8.tv) and on Comcast Corp.’s Comcast On Demand video-on-demand service.
