Comcast Corp. Atlanta-area subscribers who can’t get their fill of Major League Baseball’s Braves are about to have their thirst quenched.

The MSO and the team are rolling out BravesVision, a 24-hour digital network, AP reported.

BravesVision will feature interviews, news, behind-the-scenes features, game highlights and rebroadcasts of classic games, according to AP.

The network is expected to be fully operational in about a week, but it could begin airing some programming to Comcast digital subscribers in the Atlanta area by Tuesday night, an MSO spokesman told AP.

"It's what we would call a 'soft launch,' which is another way of saying we don't have everything firmly in place yet," Comcast vice president Reg Griffin told AP. "But we think the time is right, with the regular season winding down and all the excitement about another National League East championship and beyond."

Comcast and the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons launched FalconsVision last year.
