Comcast Corp. will air a series of public-service announcements in its Pittsburgh-area systems featuring greeting messages from area military personnel stationed overseas, the MSO said Tuesday.
The special PSAs began airing Tuesday and will continue through Friday, Dec. 31, throughout the day on various cable networks, Comcast said.
"We are proud of the men and women serving and protecting our country in every corner of the world this holiday season," said Doug Sansom, senior regional vice president and general manager for Comcast's Western Atlantic region, in a prepared statement.
"We are honored to provide the forum for these soldiers to send messages home to their families and friends here in western Pennsylvania and Ohio," he added.
