Comcast Corp. and Discovery Communications Inc. officially announced their multiyear agreement to add Discovery Networks U.S. shows like American Chopper, Trading Spaces and What Not to Wear to free on-demand offerings, and said Comcast will add Discovery HD Theater in selected markets.

Later this summer, Comcast Digital Cable customers in markets where the On Demand VOD service is offered will be able to select from more than 70 hours of programs from Discovery Networks U.S. each month at no extra charge.
Other show titles include Monster Garage, Rides, A Makeover Story and The Jeff Corwin Experience.
Comcast will add Discovery HD Theater, the 24-hour HD channel, to its HDTV lineup over the next several months — also offered up to Comcast Digital Cable customers with HDTV at no additional charge.
Discovery HD Theater now has distribution agreements with virtually all major affiliates in the U.S., the network group said.
