Comcast Media Center To Manage Tribeca Film VOD

Tribeca Enterprises LLC has selected Comcast Media Center as one of the service providers to help manage and distribute video-on-demand delivery for its new independent film distribution platform.

CMC will launch a branded Tribeca Film VOD offering on April 21, in conjunction with the Tribeca Film Festival's opening day, with 12 features that will be delivered via the CMC to participating cable operators, including Comcast, Cablevision and Verizon FiOS.The titles will be available for a minimum of 60 days.

Five are acclaimed titles from the festival circuit, while seven will premiere on demand day-and-date with their premiere at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival. The initial roster includes: The Birth of Big Air; Climate of Change, The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle, The Infidel, Metropia, My Last Five Girlfriends, Road, Movie, sex & drugs & rock & roll, The Swimsuit Issue, Timer, The Trotksy and The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.
