Dolcemaschio Made COO at Comcast Entertainment

Steve Dolcemaschio has been promoted to chief operating officer at Comcast Entertainment Group, overseeing finance and business operations for E! Entertainment, The Style Network, G4 and Fearnet.

Dolcemaschio is responsible for long range financial planning, all daily operations for the networks and their production entities, as well as strategic business development for the company.

His business leadership is credited with contributing significantly to E!, Style and G4, all of which delivered their most-watched years ever in 2008. He had been executive VP of finance and business operations.

The announcement came from Ted Harbert, CEO at Comcast Entertainment Group. "Steve is the business and operational mastermind behind our networks' ongoing growth and success," Harbert said in a release. "His unparalleled business expertise helps keep us on an upward trajectory but what sets Steve apart is the positive impact he has on our corporate culture through his extraordinary leadership skills. I'm fortunate to have such a great partner as we continue to expand and seek out new opportunities."

In his prior role, Dolcemaschio led all of the company's core financial operations and managed the finance, accounting, treasury, tax and facility operations for the networks. He also oversaw the formation of Comcast Entertainment Group in 2006 and led the consolidation efforts that moved G4 into the company's Los Angeles headquarters in 2007.

Prior to joining E! in 2000, Dolcemaschio worked as COO and chief financial officer at BBDO West in Los Angeles and San Francisco for 16 years.
