HDNet Unlocks the NHL

11/10/2004 7:00 AM Eastern

HDNet wants to cure the hockey-lockout blues.

The network will air the best games from the National Hockey League’s 2003-04 season, all in HD, Fridays at 9 p.m. (EST), beginning this Friday, calling it NHL Relived.

The NHL All-Star Game and Stanley Cup Playoff games will also be featured on NHL Relived.

Each installment will feature two games “condensed into an action-packed two-hour program showcasing superstars of the game, classic rivalries, young teams aiming for their first playoff appearance and veteran teams hoping to defend their titles,” the network said in a prepared statement.
