Time Warner Cable invited mun2 television to participate in this year’s South Texas Scorcher, the network said Friday.
The South Texas Scorcher -- to be held at the Hidalgo Dome in Hidalgo, Texas, Saturday from noon-midnight -- is the country’s largest car show, featuring 2005-model vehicles.
The crew from the network’s SpeedLogic will film at the event. SpeedLogic, which airs Monday-Friday at 7:30 p.m., is about cars, motorcycles and motorboats, with behind-the-scenes looks at racing and vehicle modification.
“We welcome mun2 as our guest for the South Texas Scorcher,” Time Warner Cable marketing manager Jimmy Kelly said in a prepared statement. “We felt that SpeedLogic and the event’s car show were a perfect match.”
