Suddenlink Logs 1 Millionth Internet Customer

Suddenlink Communications crossed the one million customer milestone for its high-speed Internet service, shortly after it completed its $350 Million “Project Imagine” capital investment program.

Suddenlink identified Midland, Texas customer Mark Saenz as its one millionth customer on Dec. 20, awarding him an IPad and one year of free services from Suddenlink.

Suddenlink began Project Imagine three years ago -- completing it in the third quarter -- and since that time has significantly increased data speeds. Its Max 107.0 service, with download speeds of up to 107 Megabits per second, was for a time the fastest residential high-speed Internet service in the nation

Suddenlink added that it more than tripled the number of high-definition TV channels it offers during Project Imagine, expanded its video on demand service reach to more than 90% of its customers and introduced all-digital TV lineups to a number of communities.
