SupportSoft Inc. said Time Warner Cable will use its real-time service-management software for service automation for its Road Runner high-speed subscribers.
Time Warner Cable will use SupportSoft's "Smart Access," "Service Automation Suite" and "Knowledge Center" suite, which help to automate the activation and self-installation process. The software also provides subscribers with online self-help and customer care.
"We feel that the Web-based activation model gives our customers the ease of use they expect and the flexibility we need in order to keep our costs down and our customers satisfied," Time Warner Cable senior vice president of customer care Dave Temlak said in a prepared statement.
