Time Warner Cable has put TV Everywhere applications for Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network in play.
Beginning Aug. 24, Time Warner Cable subscribers can watch cable news sector leader Fox News Channel and its sister service Fox Business Network live on the iPad and iPhone. The streams will be available on the Fox News iPhone, Fox News iPad and Fox Business iPad applications.
The nation's No. 2 cable operator will next stream the Fox services online, followed by a rollout on Android devices. Time Warner Cable didn't specify a timeframe for those debuts.
The TV Everywhere gambit emanates from the recently concluded carriage contract between the MSO and the programmer for FNC, FBN and Fox Movie Channel.
