TV5 Monde USA To Launch Two New Channels

French language network TV5 Monde USA has expanded its carriage agreement with Charter to include the distribution of two new channels.

The two new channels – TiVi5 Monde Kids and TV5Monde Info. – will launch in front of Charter customers in Atlanta, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Ca., Reno, NV and St. Louis, said network officials. By the end of this year it is expected that all three channels will be available in the entire Charter footprint.

“Charter continues to expand on our wide array of diverse quality content that appeals to adults and children," said Allan Singer, Charter senior vice president of programming in a statement. "We are pleased to bring TV5Monde Info and TiVi5Monde Kids to our customers in these communities, and more will follow,” .
